Examples of Skills
In my time at Olds College I completed many projects and assignments which clearly depict the tools and skills taught in the Agricultural Management Diploma and the Agricultural Technology Integration Post-Diploma Certificate. Some of the larger and more practical one for real life situation have been placed below for your viewing convenience.

Business
In Agricultural Management there was a several courses that focuses on how to properly manage a farm as a business in regards to business plans, finances and marketing.
Below I have included an example business plan, some financial documents. The first Excel file is a all-in-one file for most financial needs of a farm. The second Excel file is a cash-flow sheet for the linked business plan PDF.

Cattle
During some of the livestock courses in Agricultural Management focuses on herd health and management was important along with proper grazing patterns (pasture rotation). I had to create a Cattle Pricing Journal based upon cattle prices in Alberta at the time and actively had the opportunity to calve out the OC herd.
Below is the Cattle Pricing Journal, and a video of myself utilizing a simulation tool for dealing with difficult birthing positions. In the video a classmate placed the calf in the position while I had my backed turn to truly simulate blindly reaching into the birthing canal.

Environmental
In Agricultural Management proper cropping practices and how to achieve sustainable agriculture practices to ensure optimal soil health for crop production.
Below I have linked a Fertilizer Management Plan and a joint project done with a classmate Sustainable Agriculture Plan.

Technology
In Agricultural Technology Integration one of the classes I took had us program a Zumo Robot using a Arduino Uno. Below I have a video of the Zumo working the completed program following the path to each cell, doing a 180, parking and waiting until the button is pushed and returning home after the last cell has been parked in.
